| Inserting Femring |
| To insert Femring into your vagina: |
| 1. | Wash your hands thoroughly. |
| 2. | Remove Femring from its packaging. |
| 3. |  Relax and get into a position that is comfortable for you, either standing with one foot on a chair or lying on your back with your knees up.

| 4. |  Open the folds of skin around the vagina. |
| 5. | Gently squeeze the ring into an oval shape and push the ring upwards and backwards (towards the small of the back) as far as it will go.

| 6. | Wash your hands thoroughly. |

| How Do I Remove Femring? |
| To Remove Femring: |
| 1. | Wash your hands thoroughly. |
| 2. | Relax and get into a position that is comfortable for you, either standing with one foot on a chair or lying on your back with your knees up. |
| 3. | Put your finger into your vagina and hook it around the ring. |
| 4. |  Gently pull downwards and forwards to remove the ring. |
| 5. | Wrap the ring up well in tissue and put it in the trash. Do not flush it down the toilet. |
| 6. | Wash your hands thoroughly. |
